Now that the weather is finally warming up and my son is old enough to enjoy most foods, I’ve been fixated on finding the best homemade popsicle recipes for us to enjoy all summer long. Popsicles are a fun and simple way to use up extra fruit and yogurt in the fridge, they’re easy for young kids to eat, and homemade popsicles are much healthier (and cheaper) than anything you can find at the store.

How to Make Homemade Popsicles
I’ve compiled a list of 20 homemade popsicle recipes that I’ve already made or plan on making this summer, all of which include detailed instructions.
The most important thing you need for making homemade popsicles is a popsicle mold to shape and freeze your ingredients. I have this silicone popsicle mold that creates the authentic rectangle popsicle shape and allows you to use either reusable sticks or disposable wood sticks. The lid is extra handy because you don’t have to worry about freezer spillage when they’re still liquidy.
Since my son is still a little guy, he rarely eats an entire popsicle and is more likely to get half of it all over his clothes. For him, I use this silicone mini popsicle mold that’s more ideal for toddlers.
